Founded in 1980 by Alfred Okoigun, ARCO is a wholly indigenous company which started business as the one and only Nigerian representative of Nuovo Pignone SPA, the Italian Government owned manufacturer of Steam/Gas Turbines, Gas compressors & Pumps.
After consummating the relationship with General Electric, ARCO established and consummated similar relationships with other reputable international organisations such as Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea, Japan Steel Works of Japan, Global Industries of the U.S.A, and Serck Audco Valves of the U.K., to mention a few.
ARCO and ASCOT have a partnership agreement to assemble and distribute these specially designed generators to the Telecommunication and non-telecommunication sectors of the Nigerian economy. ASCOT designs and manufactures generating sets from 11kva to 2MW and above.
